Account & Subscription

From creating an account to updating a configuration, make sure you’re using the same account and a valid subscription.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe, and remember that your account password and the subscription link in your client serve different purposes: the password gets you into the user panel, while the subscription link imports route configurations. Consider using a password manager, and never put your password in route notes or public screenshots. After signing in, you can review plans, clients, and your account overview. When you’re ready to use a subscription, follow the getting-started guide to configure it. If you forget your login details, use the recovery option actually available in the panel; don’t assume you can recover them by email.

Do I need to buy again when I switch devices? Can I connect multiple devices at once?

LCDVPN has no limit on the number of devices that can be online at the same time, so you don’t need to buy again just because you switch devices. Sign in to the same account on your new device, get the client for its operating system, and import your subscription. When using multiple devices, keep an eye on your plan and data balance—unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data. Remove the subscription configuration from devices you no longer use. If you pass a device to someone else, clear any saved login details as well. After setup, verify that the new device can access the service you need before removing the old one. This makes it easier to tell whether an issue comes from the device configuration or the route.

How do I update my subscription link? Why don’t I see new routes afterward?

Sign in to the user panel and check your subscription status in the account overview, then get the subscription details currently available to you. In your client, open subscription or configuration management and update the relevant configuration instead of adding the same link repeatedly. Once the update completes, make sure you’re using the updated configuration, then check the route list again. If nothing changes, check whether the update succeeded, whether your device can reach the subscription address, and whether the client is still using an old filter. Your subscription link grants access to your account, so don’t post it in public forums. If you report an issue, share only screenshots with sensitive details obscured.

Which platforms are supported? Where can I get the client and subscription?

Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Get the client and subscription through the user panel. Don’t install apps based on similar names in search results. On the client page, check the instructions and available download options for your operating system; interface labels may vary, so follow the panel’s guidance. After installing the client, return to the account overview to get and import your subscription. A successful installation only means the app is ready—it does not mean you’re connected. Select a valid configuration, enable the connection, and verify access using the website or app you want to use.

Connection Issues

Separate basic network problems from proxy configuration and destination app issues to avoid reinstalling everything repeatedly.

The client says I’m connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?

Pause the proxy and check whether your device can access everyday websites without it. If your basic network connection is down, troubleshoot that first. Then sign in to the panel to confirm your subscription is valid and has data available; update the configuration and reconnect. If only one website fails, test another ordinary page rather than assuming all routes are down. If nothing loads, check that the system proxy or the client’s required network takeover feature is enabled, and make sure no other proxy tool is also managing the connection. Change one setting at a time and note what happens. This will help you describe exactly where the problem occurs when you submit a support ticket.

Why does my browser work, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?

Browsers and apps may use different network paths. Some apps follow the system proxy, while others need the client’s broader network takeover feature or may be affected by routing rules. First, check in the client whether the app’s destination domain matches the expected rule. If the client provides connection logs, review the match on your device. Then check the relevant permissions and mode according to the client’s instructions. Don’t enable multiple network takeover tools at once. After changing the configuration, quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using an existing connection. If the issue persists, report the app name, operating system, and error message—don’t send your full subscription link.

My connection often drops after switching networks, sleep, or screen lock. How can I troubleshoot it?

After you switch local networks, the existing connection may need to be re-established. Sleep and background activity management can also pause the client. Check whether the problem occurs only after switching networks or waking the device, then see whether the client is still running and its connection toggle is on. If the operating system restricts background activity, adjust the relevant permissions as described by the client rather than disabling all system protections. Once reconnected, test with a new page request instead of relying on content already displayed in an open page. If the issue occurs only on a particular local network, compare it with another available network and include the conditions needed to reproduce the problem in your support ticket.

What should I include in a support ticket? What does anonymous, no-logs mean?

When submitting a support ticket, include your device’s operating system, client name, selected region and route type, the app you’re trying to use, the error message, and the steps you’ve already tried. Describing when and where the issue occurs is more helpful than simply saying it doesn’t work. Hide passwords, subscription links, and other sensitive account details in screenshots. LCDVPN’s privacy stance is anonymous, no-logs; this is a service policy, not a guarantee that every website will allow access, and it doesn’t replace your responsibility to protect your account details. Share only the error information needed to troubleshoot. Don’t upload your full browsing history, and check the purpose and scope before providing any additional information.

Speed & Routes

Choose a route based on your target region and what you need to do. A route name, connection status, and a platform’s access rules are three different things.

Which regions are covered? How do IEPL, relay, and direct routes compare?

LCDVPN covers 110+ countries / 150+ routes. Check the panel and your current subscription list for the specific regions and routes available to you. IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes, and direct routes describe different connection paths; none guarantees access to a particular app, and a route’s name alone can’t predict how it will perform. First identify the region required by your target service, then compare the available routes in that region. Hong Kong IEPL, Singapore relay, and Japan direct are examples to illustrate the route types; verify performance in actual use. Don’t keep switching just to chase a more distant region or a more elaborate route name. A route that reliably gets your task done matters more than its label.

Streaming buffers or pages load slowly during peak hours. How can I find out why?

First, distinguish congestion on your local network from a route change or a busy destination platform. Pause large downloads on your device, compare the same content with and without the connection, then try another available route in the same region. Avoid changing the region and app settings at the same time. If regular webpages load but video buffers, temporarily lower playback quality and see whether buffering improves. This can help identify the cause, but it doesn’t guarantee that a particular quality setting will work. Don’t treat a single test as a lasting conclusion. If the problem keeps happening, note the approximate time, region, route type, and streaming platform, then report reproducible details through a support ticket.

Netflix or Disney+ still says content isn’t available in my region after connecting. What should I do?

First, make sure your connection’s exit region matches the region of the content you want to watch. Then check your account region, membership access, and the platform’s content licensing. Being able to open the platform’s home page doesn’t mean all content is available in that region. After switching routes, quit and reopen the app. If needed, follow the platform’s instructions to clear its cache, then check a specific title rather than relying on changes to the home-page recommendations. If the platform still reports a proxy or region issue, try another available route in the target region. Don’t keep changing your account or payment region to see if it helps; a network connection doesn’t override platform account rules. For more on region checks and error messages, see our streaming access guide.

Will switching routes fix errors in ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor?

Not necessarily. Errors in AI tools can be caused by the network path, account permissions, regional policies, server status, or the app’s own configuration. Keep the error message, check whether regular webpages load, and confirm that the tool is actually using the expected proxy rule. If you need to switch routes, stay in the same target region if possible and reconnect the app afterward. Changing your exit route repeatedly during a long task can make the issue harder to diagnose. Follow the tool’s official guidance for account or paid-access errors. LCDVPN provides network connectivity; it cannot grant account eligibility or feature access for third-party services.

Billing & Refunds

Check how your plan is billed, then review your order status. Monthly plans and data packs follow different billing cycles.

How much does a monthly plan cost? Which one fits my usage?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Choose based on what you actually do: browsing and text-based tools use data differently from frequent downloads and video streaming. Don’t choose a plan based only on the number of devices. The number of devices is unlimited, but keep track of your data usage in the account. Check your actual consumption in the panel before deciding whether to change plans. Don’t convert a type of usage into a fixed number of hours, since video quality, file sizes, and app behavior all affect data use. See the plans and checkout pages for complete pricing and billing details.

How are data packs billed? Are they a good fit if my usage varies?

Data packs are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. Unlike monthly plans, which reset data each month, data packs may suit you better if you first consider how often you use the service rather than comparing prices alone. Data that never expires is not unlimited, so keep track of your actual usage. If you already have another plan, check the panel’s details for both your current and new plans before switching. Don’t assume that data from different plans will stack, roll over, or be deducted in a particular order. If the site doesn’t explain how a combination works, confirm through a support ticket before proceeding.

When does monthly plan data reset? What happens if I upgrade mid-cycle?

Monthly plan data resets each month on the date you activated the plan. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Check the cycle information in your account overview to see your current status; don’t assume every account resets at the start of the calendar month. If your data balance appears unchanged, refresh the account overview and check whether you’re viewing a monthly plan or a data pack, since they’re billed differently. Before upgrading, read the checkout page’s explanation of the change and make sure you understand it. Don’t estimate the amount due or data added using a full month’s price. If the displayed result doesn’t match your understanding, keep the order details and ask support to check them.

Which payment methods are supported? What if my plan doesn’t appear after payment?

Supported payment methods: Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Create an order through the user panel and pay using the method shown on the order page. Don’t send money to payment details posted in public forums or sent in unsolicited messages. After paying, return to the panel to check the order status, then review your account overview. If the payment page shows completion but your account hasn’t updated, first make sure you’re signed in to the same account that created the order. If the status looks wrong, don’t pay repeatedly to try to refresh it. Submit the order ID and any necessary payment proof through a support ticket, obscuring details unrelated to the issue. The order record will help us investigate.

How do I request a refund? What information should I have ready?

LCDVPN offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket with your request and enough order information to identify the purchase. Read the Terms of Service for details on eligibility and how requests are handled. You don’t need to reinstall the client repeatedly to request a refund, and don’t post payment proof on public pages. A refund request is different from a connection troubleshooting issue, so state clearly what you need in your ticket. Keep the ticket record, watch for replies, and provide any necessary information requested. The site doesn’t specify a fixed processing time, so don’t assume the refund will arrive as soon as you submit the request. Check your ticket for updates.
